Dr. James Militello



Dr. James Militello was born and raised in St. Augustine and attended area schools. He earned his Bachelor's Degree at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. He then went to the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. His post-graduate training consisted of a Surgical Preceptorship in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Militello returned to St. Augustine in 1989. Health Park Podiatry was established that year and serves St. John's and Putnam Counties. The practice specializes in treatment of foot and ankle problems. This includes diabetic wound care, sports medicine, a full range of surgical options that treat structural problems of the foot and conservative foot care. Dr. Militello has a personal interest in geriatrics as well. The practice consists of both office and hospital based surgery; and non-surgical are always available. Dr. Militello lives in St. Augustine, with his wife Elaine, a nurse anesthesist, their daughter Molly, three dogs, two cats, and a bird. "Being a native of the area has nurtured a fierce loyalty and commitment to serving the community, with a dedication to excellence and empathy for my patients."

Dr. Concha



Dr. Concha was born in Lima, Peru and raised on Long Island, New York. After serving in the United States Navy as a Medical Corpsman, Dr. Concha earned a Medical Degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residencies at the Medical Center of Delaware and Christiana Care Health System at Wilmington Hospital. He is a Silver Award Winner in the National Podiatric Residency Paper Competition of the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association. He is the 1998 recipient of the journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association's William J. Stickel Bronze Award for Research and Papers in Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Concha and his wife Leigh Ann are new residents of this area. "Ever since visiting Florida as a child I've wanted to settle here. My wife and I look forward to becoming a part of this community. I feel that as someone who is fluent in Spanish as well as English I can contribute to the needs of our residents. Additionally, I enjoy keeping up with the latest research in podiatric care and sharing it with my patients. I am excited about being associated with Health Park Podiatry."

Dr. Richard Johnson



Doctor Richard Johnson was born in Stoke-On-Trent, England. His wife's name is Susan. He received a B.A. from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, in 1991. Dr. Johnson graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center with his specialty in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery. He has lectured extensively on a multitude of Podiatric procedures.

Dr. Jerry Weed Jr.

Dr. Jerry Weed, Jr. was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina.
He received his B.S. in medical engineering from Clemson University
and worked for the US Navy as a design engineer for several years before returning to school for his medical degree.

He earned his medical degree from Barry University in Miami, FL, with honors, as well as a concurrent Master of
Science.

Dr. Weed completed his residency training in medicine and
reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Cedars Medical Center in Miami, FL.

Dr. Weed has extensive training in foot and ankle surgery, including diabetic
reconstruction and athletic injuries. Dr. Weed joined the staff of Healthpark in June 2003.

He resides in St. Augustine with his wife and two children and they are happy to be a part of our community.


Dr. John Burns

Dr. John Burns was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and earned his Bachelor's degree from Temple University. He then attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland and graduated with honors. Subsequently, Dr. Burns returned to Pennsylvania to practice podiatric medicine in the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton area until moving to Florida. His post graduate training consisted of a surgical preceptorship in Wiles-Barre and was a consultant to the Veterans Administration Medical Center during this time. He and his family moved to Orange Park, Florida in 2003 and has since joined HealthPark. "We wanted the Florida sunshine, clear blue skies, and are enjoying our new lives here".
